3 Days in Prague, Czech Republic

Last week we spent 3 days in Prague! Day one was a work conference, which went well despite some very funny language barrier situations. The last 2 of the 3 days in Prague were spent checking out the sights and sounds of Prague.

Even though we’re racing towards winter here in the northern hemisphere, the weather for our 3 days in Prague was surprisingly good.

3 days in Prague

Prague was an interesting place. There is so much history there and some of the buildings are amazing. The Czech Republic is reasonably cheap compared to the rest of Europe (I’m talking about you Copenhagen), a nice lunch at a restaurant costs about £5.

Below is a small selection of the photos that I took during the 3 days in Prague and there is a video at the end.

Cheers Prague, we had a great time looking around. The Charles Bridge is a special place, it’s jammed full of buskers and artists, as well as hundreds of other tourists. Some other highlights include the John Lennon Wall and Prague Castle.

It’s very easy to get around Prague, a quick train ride will take you to the central city, where you can basically walk to anywhere.

For the next few weeks, I’ll be staying around the UK – a train trip down to Brighton perhaps. The weather is getting very cold here, but the Christmas festivities are keeping us entertained. There is a massive Christmas Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park at the moment, which is basically bigger than any theme park in New Zealand.

The next confirmed trip is Orlando in January. That will be my first time in America, which is exciting.  The aim at the moment, is to visit a new country every month – we’ll see how long that lasts. So in December hopefully we’ll find some time to pop up to Scotland or even across to Wales.

Until next time,

Henry
