Now, there is far more to Ios island than just a great Greek salad! By day you can roam the streets eating Gyros and browsing the shops, but by night everything changes. The beaches are packed with bars and the clubs in town will either give you a free singlet or smash you on the head with a fire extinguisher (with a helmet on), depending on where you are. Yep! It’s a pretty crazy place.
We were docked in Ios for two nights before setting sail for our final Greek island stop in Santorini. I obviously didn’t take my camera on any of the nights out, so there are no photos of the beach clubs or the bars in town (probably just as well to be honest). But as you can see by the below pictures the place is full of culture and beauty.
