Exploring Dublin, Ireland

Why is Dublin the world’s largest city? Because it keeps Dublin and Dublin. I’ll just leave that there to simmer…

Jokes aside, The Republic of Ireland was the next trip. Unlike Northern Ireland, this time we didn’t have a car, so we just explored the city for the weekend.

Over the two days, we enjoyed a few Guinness’s, explored the town and visited Trinity College. Trinity is Ireland’s oldest university and home to the famous Book of Kells. The library is an amazing building, built in the 16th century and wouldn’t look out of place in the Harry Potter movies, there’s a few photos of the inside below.

Like the rest of Ireland, everyone in Dublin is super friendly. Our few days there were really great, but if you’re heading there for much longer than a weekend, I recommend hiring a car to explore the countryside.
